Ever since I finished high-school, I've always had my nails painted (even when I'd have to go into workshop for uni projects and they'd chip/crack off every second day! :P) When I was in my first year of uni, I used nail stickers all of the time, however I've now gone back to nail polishes, but I'm sure I will return back to my nail sticker phase again soon. :)
Here is a small round-up of my favourite nail-polishes that I own at the moment. I purchased all of these from stores around Melbourne and will post links and product details below:
1) Ciate: Paint Pot in 'Cabaret'
This colour is so beautiful for Autumn/winter and you can really build it up from a deep rosy pink to a dark burgundy colour. I think the packaging is so adorable and feminine with the little bow on it :) You can get one of these guys at Mecca Maxima Online.
2) Kit Cosmetics: Nail Polish in 'Spicy Salsa'
I have been wearing this colour with one of my nails coloured in 'Cabaret' (above). It's such a fun and vibrant colour and Kit nail polishes last such a long time with a base and top coat on them! I also want to mention, in the above images it looks like a light red colour, but I'd probably describe the look of it in real life as a super bright orange shade :) You can also get one of these at Mecca Maxima Online.
3) Formula X: Nail Colour in 'Alchemy'
I stumbled upon Formula X nail polishes only a month ago at the new Sephora in Melbourne Central. The one thing that caught my eye about this colour was that it was made up of such fine glitters! Normally I love wearing glitter nail polish over the top of a base colour, however they take forever to get off once they start chipping. 'Alchemy' gives you an amazingly packed, glittery look and comes off with such ease! You can't go wrong with this! I haven't tried any other Formula X nail colours, but if this is anything to go by, I'm a huge fan! :) You can find Formula X at Sephora Online.
4) O.P.I: Nail Lacquer in 'Mod About You'
A good friend of mine was wearing this nail colour the first time I ever saw it and I asked her straight away what it was. It looks so lovely as an everyday nail polish as it's a soft pastel colour and has a small hint of pink to it. You can find O.P.I Nail Lacquers at a few department stores such as David Jones and Myer in Melbourne, but here's a link to Myer's online store.
5) Sportsgirl: Nail It in 'Powder Blue'
My final nail polish pick is the 'Powder Blue' Sportsgirl colour. I got this colour in a Christmas gift pack that contained three other colours, so I believe this was limited edition :( however, Sportsgirl still make some other gorgeous colours that you can find here.
